Fox that the jagd treed.

Fox that O.P., Sis, Digger, Trouble, Hades, Patience, Chewy, and a coonhound named Boomer all caught.

Sis (on top), Patience and Trouble (in the holes) and Chewy (watching) all digging sage rats.

We would like to thank Howard Netterville of Mississippi and Stephen of Louisiana (and their families and dogs) for their recent hospitality in taking our family and our jagds hog hunting. We do not have much of a wild pig population in Oregon so it was a real treat to take a vacation east and let our jagds experience a new kind of hunting. We were very proud to see them jump right into the action. Digger got a few bumps and bruises and Sis got cut twice in the neck but all in all it was a successfull and fun filled trip.

Camping out on the Buffalo river in Mississippi, Howard allowed us to stay in his beautiful cabin on his Silverwood Plantation.

During a hog hunt in Mississippi the water was pretty deep in places.

Dad is learning how to hog tie a live pig, this one was caught with a pack of jagds.

One of the large hogs caught by the jagds in Mississippi.

This hog was caught soley by our own dogs (Digger, Chewy, Sis) in Louisiana after being exposed to a few hogs for the first time during the prior week. The jagd caught this pig in the river, you can see the pig off to the left and Sis in the center after finally getting them apart before they drowned one another.

One of the trophy size hogs caught with the jagds, they have some big teeth!

We couldn't resist trying to dig out an armadillo when we were back east but never did get him, his hole extended over 10 feet from what we could see. Sis is on top, Hades in hole.
